Ok nobody likes going to the Dentist, However this lady is fabulous!! Her name is Sevil Pekmezci and her clinic is called 'Gentle Dental'website: http://www.gentledentalturkey.comShe is especially great with kids and big kids (read: grown ups that are scared), her equipment is great (never saw the inside of my mouth on a tv screen before) and her prices are fantastic. Next to the normal repair, drill and pull work, she specializes in teeth whitening, crowns & bridges, and veneers. She gives free cosmetic consultations, free check ups, and free teeth whitening prior to a pulling/filling etc. treatment job Of course it is not about the freebies....but it is nice, especially when dentistry in Europe is ridiculously expensive. Sevil's clinic can be found on the main road down in Altinkum, accross from Temple Hotel (on the side of Valentine's and Maxi Tour) Wish me luck...i'm having a big tooth pulled tomorrow :cry: |

How did you get on, at the Dentist So? I have been suffering toothache for months now :cry: , Too scared to go, Do they knock you out ?
Carol. Didn't feel a thing Carol, I thought it was simple tooth pulling, but in the end I spent 3 hours there, while she cut my tooth up in 4 pieces and took it out little by little. (it mostly took so long because i am really really scared and asked her to stop everytime....god knows why..) First she put numbing spray everywhere, than injections you don't feel because of the spray.... and than because i was ultra paranoid and thought i felt everything, she sedated 3/4 of my face..... seriously...didn't feel a thing! |
