The temporary suspension of property purchases by foreigners in Turkey has ended. The adjusted legislation allows foreigners to buy property and land again within officially zoned planning areas.

The new law that allows foreigners to purchase properties in Turkey has been put into force as of 15.07.2008.

What does that mean for you?

Those who have been contacted in the past that your military clearance has come through, we will be collecting your tapu if:

- we have your POA
- the full balance on your property is paid

of those we do not have POA (but did contact in the past that the deeds were ready) you have approx. 1 month to do the following:

- pay the full balance on your property
- come to turkey and sign for your deed

No no, we have announced it well in advance, all those have officially 30 days after clearance date to come here and collect it themselves.
