In the bribery operation carried out by the police at the Didim Title Deeds Office, 5 officers including the director and 10 estate agents were taken into custody.
Title Deeds Office Director S.T., officer N.Ö. and the realtor İ.T. were released after their interrogation. 3 officers and 9 estate agenst were arrested and sent to Söke Prison.
Last Tuesday (22 Jan) at 8:20 in the morning, Smuggling and Organized Crimes Bureau of the Police Department held an operation to the Didim Title Deeds Office.
Five officers, including the director, were taken under custody with the claim of misconduct in office and accepting bribe.
Expanding the operation, on Wednesday police took into custody 10 realtors who were under suspicion of being involved in the case.
Those whose interrogations were completed were sent to judiciary on Thursday morning.
Title Deeds Office Director S.T., officer N.Ö. and estate agent İ.T. were released following their interrogation.
The other officers under custody, Orhan Yıldırım, İsmail Atlı, Deniz Verdioğlu and the estate agents Ali Dağlı, Recep Reis Aydın, Sabri Atış, Mehmet Kahraman, Abdullah Arslan, Gürsel Ateş, Fikret Doğan, Güray Sak, and the Chairman of Didim Realtors Association and Council Assembly Member Osman Coşkun were arrested and put to prison.
Didim Title Deeds Office started working again with a deputy director appointed from Söke Title Deeds Office and three officers.

Hey, I have never given bribe to anybody to make things process faster so my clients can get their Title deeds or whatever their needs faster in any way. Now if you excuse me, there are people waiting for me outside in the car with red and blue lights on their car.
