With advance bookings of more than 400 inspection tours, Parador Properties is already planning to extend beyond Bodrum and Didim to other areas on the Aegean and Mediterranean coast.

"We have surpassed all expectations in the first two months," says a delighted Jack Hamilton, managing director of Parador Properties. "The value for money which Turkey offers is certainly a large draw, and the ethical approach which we have adopted in our launch into Turkey is clearly giving people the confidence to go ahead and buy.

"We took legal advice in Istanbul and monitored government developments, until the law on property ownership was clarified at the end of last year. We were waiting for the change in legislation which allows UK nationals not only to own Turkish property but also to hold the full title deed, and actually delayed our marketing campaign until we were certain that our customers were not going to be involved in any complex legal issues. That's why we've also set up a Turkish company, so that everything we do is safeguarding the customer's investment."

Already an established seller of freehold properties in Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Mallorca, the dedicated registered office is doing brisk business in the Bodrum and Didim areas - with luxury two bedroom apartments in Didim and Bodrum from £40,000. A new Turkish General Manager has been appointed to oversee Parador Properties entry into the Turkish market, and the company is building a team of both British and Turkish sales professionals.

Promoting a more formalised approach to sales in Turkey, Hamilton said: "While other operators have been selling property in Turkey, few have bothered to set up a Turkish company, but have relied on freelance agents. We are determined that all our clients will be able to purchase a property in Turkey with complete peace of mind." Parador has already begun to make strategic links with industry partners in Turkey and has become one of the main sponsors of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce. The company is also working with the Turkish Tourist Board and negotiating new flight services from London direct to Turkey during the winter season.

The other properties we looked at in and around didum did not have the build quality or the space that we were looking for, that is one of the reasons we bought in cornellia.

Thank you  Cheesy

Well the bad thing about this Parador endevour in Altinkum is that they work with one builder (for now).
People that go on a viewing trip with them to Altinkum will end up only viewing 1 project, and will have nothing to compare it to

Sad  yes unfortunately people sit in the van/car and most probably need to ask permission to go to the bathroom.
