Does anyone know if a tv bought in uk will work if i take it over to mayfair 2, i have got differing opinions and need to return it to the shop before deadline for returns if it looks like it won't.
I have received different opinions.
It has a integrated DVD player - would the sound work even if the tv did not?
As you can see i'm not technical.

Hi we bought a 42" lcd tv & divix player in turkey with the help of Bulent two years ago had no problems with either of them both are used quite a lot. If you import a tv from england you might find you will have to pay an import tax ,in whitch case it will be better to buy one in turkey.there are plenty of shops to barter in for a good price.

Hello there and a merry xmas.
i'm taking it over in my suit case, just fits (22inches) so hopefully no additional tax, just really wanted to know if it will work. it has an integrated DVD so if tv does not work the DVD will. just wondered what if anything i need to do/buy to make the tv work

as long as it survives the flight it will work in turkey ,the only thing you will need to do is change the plug, which you can buy in any turkish diy shop.just hope you dont get caught for import tax as it is a very high . good luck.
